Citizen's referendum

§ 67

(1) The citizens' vote serves to let the members of the parish decide whether a resolution of the Municipal Council, of the head of the parish or of a committee authorized for this purpose shall become legally effective. Decisions on charges, fees and tariffs, concerning the elections of the municipal organs, in personnel matters as well as on decisions concerning individuals cannot be the subject of a citizens' vote.

(3) Until the final result of the citizens' vote is available, the resolution subject to the citizens' vote shall not be legally effective.

Effect

§ 68

If the unconditional majority of the valid votes cast is "No", the resolution put to the vote may no longer be carried out.
